•I am an independent full-stack product builder and the 2nd Place Winner of the recent “Membit Half-Hackathon”. My winning submission, “Context Agent V61+”, successfully demonstrated a functional Hybrid AI & MCP-Lite pipeline for Membit’s Context Layer on mobile architecture.
I specialize in quantitative finance visualization and am now taking the next step to “fully build out the product” (as encouraged in the Hackathon rewards). My goal is to evolve my proven text-based agent into a comprehensive Visual Intelligence Interface for the Band ecosystem.
4.What is the name of the project?
•Membit Atlas — A Context Explorer for Agent-Native Finance
5.What category does the project fall under? (Development, Research, Community, Infrastructure)
•Development & Tooling
- Can you provide a project description?
•Membit Atlas is a reference visualization and exploration interface for Band Protocol’s Membit Context Layer.
While Membit aggregates rich real-time context (news, sentiment, and signals) on the backend, there is currently no public-facing interface that demonstrates how this context interacts with Band oracle data and traditional macroeconomic indicators. Membit Atlas fills this gap by acting as a “Context Explorer”—similar to a block explorer, but for narrative and market intelligence.
The platform focuses on four core capabilities:
1.Context Visualization Layer: Membit context signals are rendered into an interactive 3D orbital map, allowing users and builders to physically explore how narratives and sentiment clusters evolve globally.
2.Hybrid Data Fusion (HyFi): Band Standard Dataset prices (Gold, FX, Commodities) are directly correlated with macroeconomic fundamentals (CPI, Interest Rates via FRED API), demonstrating Band’s capacity for Hybrid Finance.
3.Automated Context Interpretation: Migrating the “Hybrid AI (Gemini Lite)” logic from my winning V61+ agent to the web, creating an optional module that translates complex macro/sentiment relationships into plain-language summaries.
4.Experimental Signal Validation: A lightweight research environment (inspired by OpenBB architecture) that allows developers to backtest how context signals historically align with price movements.
- What are the project goals?
•Demonstrate Membit as Infrastructure: Show visually how AI agents and applications can consume and interpret context data via Band.
Visual Accessibility: Transform the invisible “Context Layer” into a tangible 3D interface that serves as a “Screenshot Utility” for the ecosystem.
Enable Hybrid Finance Use Cases: Combine decentralized oracle data with traditional macro signals (FRED) in a single, coherent interface.
Lower the Barrier for Builders: Provide a public reference implementation (with open integration patterns) that developers can study, fork, or extend.
- How does this project bring value to the Band Ecosystem?
•Membit Atlas serves as a flagship reference interface for the Membit Context Layer and Band’s broader agent-native strategy.
Rather than focusing on end-user trading, the project acts as a living demo of Band’s Hybrid Finance vision. It provides reusable UI patterns, data flows, and visual assets that help external developers understand how to build macro-aware and context-driven applications on Band. This positions Band not only as an oracle provider but as core infrastructure for the AI economy.
- Can you provide a project implementation plan with milestones?
Milestone 1: Visual Core & Band Integration. Port the V61+ data fetching logic to a React/Vite frontend. Integrate Band Standard Dataset (Price). Implement the 3D Globe visualization (via react-globe.gl) for spatial context mapping.
Milestone 2: Intelligence Layer & Data Fusion.Integrate FRED API for macro-economic data. Adapt the Hybrid AI logic from the V61+ Discord bot to the web to synthesize macro data with Membit Context.
Milestone 3: Research Lab & Public Launch.Implement the experimental signal validation module (using VectorBT). Optimize UI for mobile responsiveness. Release public documentation and the “Atlas” demo.
- What budget are you requesting? (In dollars or BAND)
•I am requesting a budget of $5,000
This budget is strategically planned to cover key costs while ensuring the tool remains a sustainable public good:
1.Infrastructure & APIs ($2,000): Covers High-Performance VPS hosting, database services, and AI API usage for 24 months, ensuring “Membit Atlas” remains live as a long-term reference tool without needing immediate extra funding.
2.Development & Engineering ($3,000): Covers the full-stack migration of V61+ logic to the web, OpenBB-style data integration, FRED/Band API implementation, and 3D visualization work.
